On Tuesday, November 4, the City of Janesville will host a Community Conversation on Data Centers at the Woodman’s Sports and Convention Center from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The conversation will be moderated by WCLO’s Tim Bremel, with City Manager Kevin Lahner leading the discussion.

Residents are invited to attend, ask questions, and participate in constructive dialogue on the potential redevelopment concept for the GM/JATCO properties.

Following the City’s acquisition of the acreage, potential data center developers have been approaching the City with development plans. As a result, the City has engaged in a fact-finding exercise to gain information about the details of a potential redevelopment of this type. The conversation on November 4 will include those findings.
