The City of Janesville’s Compost and Clean Fill Facility (201 Black Bridge Road) will remain open through December 13th. The facility will reopen in 2026 near the end of March or when weather permits.

While regular access to the facility during off months is not permitted, special access can be granted. To access the Compost and Clean Fill Facility from mid-December through March, please visit the City of Janesville’s Sanitary Landfill (525 Black Bridge Road) during regular operating hours.
