Beginning on Monday, March 16, contractors will be performing utility improvements, replacing curb and gutter, and reconstructing the pavement on Tyler Street and S. Randall Avenue as part of the annual utility and street rehabilitation program.
During construction, Tyler Street, from S. Fremont Street to S. Randall Avenue, and S. Randall Avenue from Tyler Street to E. Racine Street, will be closed to through traffic. The road is expected to remain closed until approximately mid-June. Local access to driveways within the closure will generally be maintained.

Tyler Street and S. Randall Closures to affect Janesville Transit Routes
Janesville Transit route 3: Wright Road route will detour by traveling north on S. Fremont St. from Tyler/Fremont to E. Racine St., and resume regular routing at E. Racine St.
The #357 bus stop, located just south of the southeast corner of Randall/Racine, will be closed and a temporary bus stop will be located at the southwest corner of Randall/Racine.
