The City of Janesville Recreation Division is excited to welcome the community to Optimist Park (4201 Ruger Ave.) for a Movie in the Park, presented by Generac!

This free program will begin on Friday, June 19, screening the hit live action movie How to Train Your Dragon at dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.). Attendees are asked to bring their own blankets or lawn chairs. Pre-movie barrel rides will be available in the park, beginning at 7 p.m. Concessions will also be available for purchase.

In the event of inclement weather, movies will not be rescheduled. Per City Ordinance, no liquor, beer, smoking, or vaping is allowed in City parks. City Ordinance also prohibits pets in any public park from May 15 to September 15. The City of Janesville thanks its local Optimist Clubs for co-sponsoring this program.
