Every year the City of Janesville partners with Rock County to support their Clean Sweep program. This program holds annual drop-off events for hazardous chemicals from homes, farms, and eligible businesses. The Clean Sweep program is open to all Rock County residents.
Due to high demand, advance registration is required for all Clean Sweep events. The next Clean Sweep event is scheduled for:

Registration for Clean Sweep events fills up fast, so advance registration is required by calling the Rock County Land Conservation Department at (608) 757-5588.
No latex paint, motor oil, empty pesticide jugs, or plain fertilizer are accepted.
