The City of Janesville Engineering Division announces upcoming construction activities at Loch Lomond Park (3400 Balmoral Dr.) and Nantucket Park (1028 Nantucket Dr.) as part of ongoing park improvement efforts.

On Wednesday, July 8, the City’s contractor will remove the existing basketball court and adjacent path pavement at Loch Lomond Park. Removal of the existing basketball court pavement at Nantucket Park will follow on Thursday, July 9.

Both parks are tentatively scheduled for repaving on Wednesday, July 15. Installation of new basketball court markings and hoops is planned for later this summer, following completion of the paving work.

During construction, both parks will remain open. However, park users are asked to avoid areas where active work is taking place. Visitors should also expect trucks and construction equipment to enter and exit the parks throughout the project.
