The City of Janesville, together with the Rock River Stormwater Group, Protect Wisconsin Waterways, and University of Wisconsin‑Whitewater students, will lead a community river clean‑up on Saturday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to noon. The volunteer effort supports broader Rock River watershed clean‑up initiatives and aligns with Wisconsin Stormwater Week, observed September 19–27.

Participants will meet at Monterey Park (501 Rockport Road) at 10 a.m. before heading out to designated clean‑up areas. Community members and groups are encouraged to register in advance and learn more about the event by visiting protectwiwaterways.org/clean-up-page/.
