The City of Janesville Housing Choice Voucher Program is designed to provide rental subsidies to eligible low-income households; enabling them to obtain decent, safe, and sanitary housing that is affordable in the private market through funds provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. By enrolling in the program, participants will receive a voucher that allows a portion of their rent to be paid directly to a property manager or owner. Vouchers can be used to lease a unit anywhere in the United States, restrictions may apply.
