When the weather gets snowy, watch for our Little Free Sled Sheds to appear at four public sledding hills: Ardon Park, Riverside Park and Golf Course, Lustig Park, and Sheiffer Park. Feel free to borrow a sled and return it when you are done. Donations accepted.

Sledding Hills

Ardon Park: 2201 Refset Drive (Located on Liberty Lane, behind Uptown Janesville)

Palmer Park: 2501 Palmer Drive

Riverside Park and Golf Course: 2200 Parkside Drive

Lustig Park: 1500 River View Drive

Rockport Park: 2801 Rockport Road

Sheiffer Park: 3600 Wright Road (Parking lot is at 4500 Huntington Avenue, a short walk from the sledding hill)

Hills are not supervised or lighted. Other city parks not listed can be used for sledding but may have limited parking. Sledding can be hazardous, caution is advised. Always ensure you have a wide and unobstructed path to travel.
