The Janesville Water Utility works daily to provide a safe, uninterruptible supply of drinking water. The water supply is tested continuously to ensure that it is safe and meets or exceeds all state, local, and federal requirements. Water quality issues could involve odor, taste, water pressure, flow rate, and materials in water. If you have any questions regarding water quality, contact the Water Utility Office (608) 755-3115.

The annual Water Quality Report, also referred to as the Consumer Confidence Report, contains useful information about Janesville's water system, including results of required water-quality tests. In the best interest of public health, the Water Utility conducts more testing than is required by state and federal regulations.
