Data Center Companion Ordinance
Data Center Companion Ordinance
As interest in data center development continues to grow, the City Council has directed staff to draft an ordinance that establishes expectations beyond zoning and building codes to help minimize impacts and ensure development aligns with community priorities.
Following the recent public workshop and community survey on the development of a proposed Data Center Companion Ordinance, City staff are beginning the drafting process. After preparing an initial draft, the City will host a second public workshop for the community to review and comment on the potential ordinance.
